2018 織竹•知竹-臺灣當代時尚竹器與竹藝創作展 2018Weaving Emotions

呼應臺中市纖維工藝博物館的宗旨，展覽的共同點是「編織」這個詞，它的意義不僅僅是交織纖維創造物體的方法，還包括連接和交織來自不同文化的人們創造性思想的行為。因此，本次展覽策劃的大多數展品都是來自法國與臺灣之間合作計畫的結果; 該項計畫是由國立臺灣工藝研究發展中心於 2010年開始啟動的一項國際計畫，此計畫旨在保護、發展和促進臺灣的材料和技術，並有利於兩國之間的文化交流，部分作品也曾經於法國國家裝飾藝術博物館 - 羅浮宮和法國大皇宮展出。

Honoring the purpose of Taichung Fibers Museum, the common thread of the exhibition is the word “weaving” which its meaning is not just only the method of interlacing fibers to create an object but also the act of connecting and intertwining people’s creative ideas from different cultures. Therefore, most of the objects that have been curated for this exhibition are the result of a stretch collaboration between France and Taiwan; an international program, initiated in 2010 at Nantou with the support of the National Taiwan Craft and Development Institute (NTCRI), which seeks to safeguard, develop and promote local material and know-how as well as to benefit of a cultural exchange between these two countries. Some of the works have already been part of exhibitions in France at the National Museum of Decorative Arts - Louvre and at the Grand Palais.
